Yoga


After first coming to her mat in 1999, yoga quickly became a means of dedicated self-care for Nancy from her emotionally charged work as a clinical social worker dealing predominately with issues of grief and loss. Through the practice of yoga, Nancy was able to realign the mind-body connection, so often fractured in our busy daily lives finding a place of peace and balance within.

In all of Nancy’s classes, she seeks to offer a practice that truly integrates all that yoga has to offer, beyond asana, to create that same sense of calm that continues to keep her grounded to her mat and in her practice. Primarily a vinyasa style yoga teacher, Nancy has done extensive additional training in meditation, yoga therapy, restorative, as well, as the practice of Yoga Nidra.

Nancy is committed to providing a safe practice both physically and emotionally for all of her students leaving them feeling refreshed, revitalized, and more connected— not only to themselves, but to those with whom they interact with throughout their busy days. Whether she is working with a class, a group, or an individual, Nancy’s goal is to provide a safe space to explore, discover, and in many cases, mend the mind-body connection that leads us to find wholeness and peace, both on and off the mat.
